Nashville-based singer/songwriter, worship leader, and speaker Laura Kaczor offers her first-ever Christmas single, “Wrapped in Love,” October 30, ahead of her upcoming fifth album. A uniquely upbeat, worshipful, joy-filled anthem celebrating the greatest Gift ever given—Jesus—the Upstream Records/New Day Christian Distribution release was penned by Kaczor, with the title inspired by legendary Christian music publisher Randy Cox, and produced by Dove Award-winning Nick Schwarz (CAIN, Ben Fuller, Leanna Crawford, Jamie MacDonald).
Returning to music after a 10-year hiatus for her family, including her son's successful open-heart surgery and the arrival of her daughter, Kaczor has seven Billboard Christian AC Top 25 singles to her credit, including “Alive in You,” which spent 11 consecutive weeks in the Top 20, and, earlier in her career, recognition as a Top 10 New Female Christian Singer by NewReleaseToday. Her music has been heard on more than 200 radio stations worldwide.
“Wrapped in Love” is about the greatest Gift: A tiny Baby, held for the first time, breath fills His lungs as He cries. The Hope of the World in a humble manger lay, the Promised One we believe in—wrapped in love, wrapped in grace—Immanuel, God with you and me. From the promise of Immanuel—God with us (Isaiah 7:14), the song invites listeners to rediscover the true heart of Christmas: Jesus, our Savior, wrapped in love. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6 KJV)
The Gift of salvation—wrapped in love, wrapped in grace, wrapped in joy, wrapped in peace. A Gift to those who receive Him! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJV) Jesus came wrapped in love, and He went to the cross wrapped in that same love, giving His life to redeem us from our sins. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13 KJV) From the manger to the angel’s proclamation, from Immanuel—God with us—to the cross, “Wrapped in Love” celebrates the greatest Gift and the greatest Love the world has ever known.
Throughout her ministry, Laura’s heart has been to share the love of Jesus with a broken world. Through her songs, concerts, and worship events across the country—including Jesus Fest, her founding of LifeThirst, and her Lift Up U girls’ and women’s gatherings—she has ministered to thousands, seeing many come to Jesus and be restored by His love.
